ABC Electric was founded in 1932 by Arthur Badley Whitmer and his wife Carolyn. In the beginning, AB performed electrical contracting and sold appliances from a store close to 23rd and "O". AB believed strongly in treating people the way he wanted to be treated and his philosophy continues to hold true to this day at ABC Electric.

Disappointed in fact that I could not rely on their word that a deduction would be made for outlets that were not replaced as well as a deduction for the removal of a lighting fixture without permission. Felt that I was overcharged. The installer was professional and took responsibility for an apprentice error but Bob Codr was not willing to make the agreed adjustments in his response. I would not recommend for future jobs without clarifying all costs in advance.

ABC Electric and Aaron Korger did an excellent job installing my lights. Aaron was knowledgeable and and very personable. Aaron was critical about a finger print he left on the ceiling, making sure he cleaned it off before he left. I would use Aaron and ABC Electric again should the need arise. I was inquiring about ceiling fan installation in my mobile home. The first guy was nice BUT then transferred me to Bob and was super rude. He said they don't do mobile homes because people don't pay etc. I tried to explain I would pay day of BUT he interrupted "we don't do mobile homes unless it's through the management only". I wonder IF "Larry" knows this is how the company treats people that live in mobile homes/trailers.

I needed a complete overhaul done on my basement. BJ was my installer. Very friendly, very professional. He told me ahead of time where he would be drilling and warned me there may be a mess because drywall is messy. There was not a mess at all. He did an excellent job of cleaning up and installing my new electric sockets. I feel safe plugging things in now. Thanks so much to Bob and his time. I will definitely use them for my other future projects.

Seriously amazing! I had a miscommunication on them coming out which was my fault. I forgot that I was going to call back to confirm the date. I really needed power to do my computer work. I also had some other things I needed help with. They made a couple calls and their really great employee Bob came out in 5 minutes and I'm not exaggerating. He was Super efficient, experienced and understanding. He got the job done right! Thank you! I wanted to hug him when he left!

I have had the grand pleasure of working with the ABC team for a decade. Their entire team is dedicated, hard working, honest and of great character from bid to billing. Be it a lighting upgrade, a 3am PLC trouble shooting call or a 3 day multi-trade 60 person weekend shutdown to correct a lightning strike. ABC gets it done - on time, on budget and safely. Multiple outlet and basement lights not working. Had a electrician friend of a friend come over and scratched his head saying it would take hours to figure out. Call a couple companies that it would take a couple days or there would be a charge just to look. Called and Don from ABC came out same day for a free estimate. Don found and fixed both issues (burnt out wire nuts) within an hour. Great guy and was able to give us some free advise on a future project. He estimated a bill of $75, which is more than fair in my book.
