The company came to provide an annual maintenance check up on our landscape lighting. We have 21 lights moving our service into the 21-30 light bracket. This price structure resulted in an extra $80 charge for servicing a single light. We essentially paid to maintain 9 lights we do not have. I encourage anyone using this company to beware and make sure you are clear on their pricing prior to engaging with them.

Best experience with a contractor ever. They showed up when they were going to show up, Evaluated the issues with my outdoor lighting at a house we just purchased, went to work and fixed everything in an hour at a very reasonable price. Just outstanding. Would recommend to anybody.

Joe and his team are professional, reliable and patient. We were not sure exactly what we wanted and Joe took the time to go over all of our options with us. He was always available for questions and got back to us extremely fast. The team that came out to do the install was great! They were here exactly when they said they would be and spent time going over everything before they installed anything and then took the time to walk us through everything they did before they left.

After a couple days I wanted to make some adjustments and add a few extra lights. I contacted Joe and he had someone here the same day! We absolutely love the work they did! I would highly recommend The Illuminators!

It was not a long wait between us calling and them coming out to fix our outdoor lights. Our technician was very good at explaining everything and was able to complete the job within a few hours. We will definitely use them again.

Illuminators Outdoor lighting were able to completely repair and/or install landscape lighting at our home. The lighting that we had (about 15 light fixtures) was largely broken and inadequate to properly light our property. We were told by other companies that we would need to replace everything, without the opportunity to fix/save anything we had previously installed.

After my first call with Wendy, I was surprised to learn that they would be happy to fix anything worth repairing - nice to hear. She sent out Alex and Lucas two weeks earlier than we had expected, a nice surprise! Alex and Lucas toured the property with me, listened to what I had to say, and made excellent suggestions. They immediately went to work which included fixing wiring connections, while repositioning lighting for maximum efficiency to highlight the property.

I was impressed that when they encountered issues not considered I was immediately informed and asked for my input. This required 3 new path lights in front of the house, which look great! I must say that this team was easily the most professional I have had the pleasure to work with. Their communication, work ethic, and courtesy were superb. They completed the entire job, the day that we met.

This not only saved time, but allowed me to have lighting, providing safety and security that very evening! In addition, they repositioned the lights so effectively, that the house landscape lighting looks so much better that even when it was first installed! We are truly amazed and would never use anybody else for our landscape lighting needs. One additional note: When I reached out to complement Alex and Lucas, I was thanked by Wendy and received a personal note by Joe, the owner. Joe & his team are AMAZING! They are very respectful of people & property. I wish there were more businesses like this. The installation team were some of the best people I have ever met. Joe and his team were fantastic! From the initial meeting to quote the job to the day of install, we were very impressed with Illuminators. They were very professional, responsive and stayed in touch with us every step of the way. They were there when they said they'd be there and left our home looking absolutely beautiful. From start to finish we were very pleased. Joe came up with a lighting plan and let us know we had options to do it in phases or all at once. The install team was professional, careful with all my plants and flower beds and did an incredible job. We never felt pressured to do more than we were comfortable with and are thrilled with the job they did. We would highly recommend them.

There were vandalism incidents so we installed outdoor security cameras and looked into exterior lighting improvements. Our Google searches pointed us to The Illuminators. Wendy was quick with responses when I reached out. Owner Joe visited our townhome for an onsite consultation. He listened to my explanations of our needs, assessed our property, showed me the types of fixtures, made recommendations for placement, answered all my questions.

I enjoyed talking with Joe. It waslike a chat with a friend, not a one-sided conversation or an aggressive sales pitch. I never felt pressured. The lighting was installed very soon after quote approval. Greg and Tom arrived as scheduled, and we all did a walkthrough of the layout to confirm which types of lights and where each would be installed. They were friendly and worked hard and efficiently.

We were shown the transformer, the timer settings, and they also advised us on basic troubleshooting. The lighting looks lovely! Everything is working as it should - auto set for dusk to dawn. Neighbors and a police officer have complimented our lights. We are very happy with The Illuminators' expert design and installation, product quality, and service excellence.

They just completed the lights in my yard. They were professional and communicated throughout the process very well! We realized an existing light hadn't been reconnected and decided to switch the location of one of the new lights(we asked for the change originally). They came back immediately with no charge and couldn't have been nicer about it!

Our landscape lighting suddenly went out one night, power was fine to the box on our exterior wall, but wasn't making it to the fixtures. I called the Illuminators and Wendy put me on their schedule. She couldn't confirm when they would do the work, but said they'd be in my area the next day and they might be able to fit me in. The next morning I got a text saying the techs would be there by noon, and to confirm. Evan and Greg came with all the equipment, including the best tool for the job, the underground cable locator.

They traced it to a fence post the neighbor had put in the previous day, and sure enough, the post had spliced the cable. They quickly fixed it, and the lights were back on. They also put in a new fixture for me, which was marked up quite a bit (~2.5x retail), but they were within the first hour of billing so at least I didn't have to pay more for labor.

One star taken off for the markup on the fixture. They said they do install fixtures that you buy, so potential savings there for next time. Otherwise very satisfied with the professionalism and punctuality.

My wife and I had high expectations and Joe and his crew exceeded them.

I highly recommend Joe and his team. I met with multiple vendors and Joe was definitely the most responsive, had the the the best value and a fair price. The installation started right on time, went on without a hitch, and the end product is beautiful! We are extremely happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Illuminators to anyone!

This company is absolutely a KEEPER! I've been using their services for years for the landscaping lighting of my property. I get nothing but compliments from my neighbors about how nice my home looks at night with the landscape lights and during the holidays we never need to put up holiday lights because the Illuminators change the landscape lights to festive holiday colors of red and green. Their office staff is an absolute joy to deal with - always friendly and efficient.

Illuminators needs to improve its customer communication. The guys in the field explicitly communicated pricing to me that was different from what Wendy did in the office. She was uncompromising in her stance, which is different from the customer service I typically receive from other businesses that error on the side of honoring what's most favorable to the customer.

I should also mention the pricing on the invoice template was less than what I was charged, which makes me question if I was price discriminated or if Illuminators just needs to update its template. So far I haven't had any problems with the work that the guys did (thanks guys), but I would say that they always arrived later than the beginning of the range they promised, which caused me to wait. However, to be fair they always arrived before the end of the range they said, and they were respectful and friendly.

These guys were great! After our landscaper screwed us by not honoring a warranty on landscape lighting, I called the Illuminators to help. They fit us into their schedule immediately, showed up with a professional crew and had the job done in no time. They even made some adjustments on other lights to make it all look better. Really nice guys and great craftsmanship - would totally call them again!

My husband and I used The Illuminators to install lighting on the front and rear of our home. We are beyond thrilled with the job they did. From the time they came out to look at our property to give us suggestions and an estimate through the install date, they were a pleasure to work with. The Illuminators installed landscaping lighting in the front and rear yards two years ago. Fantastic results. Expanded landscaping this year, so need additional lighting. House and yard look amazing! (Neighbors agree.) Great products and service beyond compare. HIGHLY recommended.

These guys did a great job for us. They gave us a firm quote. Installed the transformer in our basement and for no additional cost connected other lights we had on a separate transformer to the one they were installing. They then removed unsightly wired from our front porch. We were very pleased and would recommend them for your illumination project
