Dan Pace here, I called about some lamps that as it turned out were obsolete. Jose Cruz went far above and beyond to locate a handful of these so I could get my project back on track! His efforts are MUCH APPRECIATED. I re-lamp a lot of automotive switches, radios, etc. and JKL lamps is my go-to site when ordering parts.

I've been building with JKL for years now. If you need high quality lighting for your project this place will be your go to. Everyone that sees the results in person will understand that florescent lighting has special characteristics that are unlike incandescent or LED. I recommend starting with a single tube and ballast with a PHC power supply. My customers are always blown away with these miniature systems.

I was needing lamps for my vintage Sony tuner/amplifier. The instrument bulbs were burnt out and black. I had no idea what the voltage or wattage was. I called JKL and talked to Jose Cruz. All I could give him was bulb dimensions and the voltage I could get with a multimeter from the output of the transformer. The bulbs were soldered to the supply wires. Jose found the voltage I needed and the style of bulb that would give me the best install. Hats off to Jose for his knowledge and really going above and beyond what I expected! Thanks Jose.

Was looking for a bulb for my vintage Yamaha RX-730 receiver and found JKL, Jose C., in my surfing. He understood my need immediately and searched his inventory for a match. Excellent customer service from Mr. Jose Cruz at JKL Components Corp - Jose has expert knowledge and very patiently addressed my questions during a phone call. I am completely surprised - JKL Components has thousands of items. Yet Jose helped me in identifying the right product candidates and even offered me a couple of free samples when I expressed my challenge in finding the exact right product.

Searching for a small 12v bulb for the climate control back-lighting in my Chevy van led me to JKL Components web site. Through a series of e-mails with Vince we determined the correct part using their excellent mechanical drawings. I received the bulbs here in NY quick-only a few days coast to coast! This is the way Customer service/ Tech support should be! - a lot of businesses could learn from the JKL staff's work ethic!

I was looking for a replacement bulb for an old stereo. It was funny looking with two metal cap ends. After contacting JKL online I learned this was called a "Fuse Bulb" and they set me up with the right ones to fix the light up part of the dial on the stereo. They were so helpful! Glad I looked into this. Older equipment is great and can still be put to use! Love the old designs.
