It's your lucky day if you find KW Lighting Discounters. Light bulbs are surprisingly difficult to buy. I was trying to convert a number of florescent ceiling lights to LED bulbs. I went to two other lighting stores that told me it was not possible. Then I found Joe! When I showed him what I needed, he told me "this is what I do" - and proceeded to call the head of the light bulb manufacturing company to get the truth. Ends up there was a replacement bulb and it was no problem to get. Joe had them within a few days. Not only is Joe knowledgeable, he is a wonderful human being - friendly, polite and attentive. Our previously dim rooms are full of light, thanks to Joe!

Joe ordered a hard to find light bulb for my chandelier. It arrived sooner then promised and when it did not work with my light, he promptly gave me a refund. Great customer service experience.

I had a floor lamp that required repair. Joe provided an estimate, called me a couple of hours later to give me the final costs, and it was ready to pick up the next morning. Very reasonable, fast service. He's open and friendly, and did the work himself. Would highly recommend.

This is a one man operation he is the owner so you would think you would get the best service and prices, NOT SO the prices are high Home Depot and Lowe's have better prices. Anyway I purchase five lights had them installed by a electrician ten months later they all go out, so he take care of me. I only used them for about 10 hours total time, they go out again not my fault This time he only takes three back and wants to charge me $38.00 to ship them back, so I gave him $38.00 cash then I call up the company regarding the other two lights I tell them what happened and that he charge me $38.00 and only took three back, the company tells me they would have taken all five lights back and shipping is always free if it's a defective product. I will never go back to them.

We were referred to KW Lighting by Lamps Plus. We had two old lamps that needed everything. One wasn't working. Jill was gracious in greeting us. Joe said he'd call us later in the day. Just an hour later, he called to tell us the lamps were ready! We were very impressed with his timely service. For lamp repair, there is none better! Ten thumbs up!

This place has great prices and even better service. Most of the car dealers in San Mateo and Burlingame order from Joe because they deliver. If you are a demanding customer looking for a deal on commercial lighting and need something asap, this place is for you.

This sotre is great. Has all those odd lightbulbs that you cnnot find at a regular store. The owner was so helpful. I now go back to him for all my light bulb needs. Note, he does not take credit cards, just cash and checks. Also prices are great!

I went in with a very simple project that was not going to generate and big $$ and walked out a huge fan. Joe, the owner was incredibly patient as a I asked a few basic questions and his phone was ringing off the hook. He went to the back, found the piece I was looking for, proceeded to customize it (while offering not to charge me if he messed up despite it being my responsibility) and barely charged me. Great service at a VERY reasonable price!

I was very happy to find KW Lighting Discounters, The Owner Joe runs this small family business. I looked everywhare to find a specialty light bulb for a customer, with no success, Untill I discovered KW, Joe had the lamp I was looking for on his Shelf. I was able to pick up the lamp and deliver to my customer, everybody was happy. Thanks Joe.
