Lee Lighting

Just had my appointment for a new build home with Susan W. She was great! There are an overwhelming amount of choices but she asked about my style and led me to things I might like. And not necessarily the most expensive either. Really great service here. Highly recommend.

Selection is wonderful! My suggestion would be go and look around by yourself, find what you like and go to a lighting store where staff is not pretentious and rude. I spent over $2000 here and was treated with utter disrespect. Everyone seems in a bad mood and bothered to do their jobs. My experience has been the same the three times I've been into the store and during the two pick ups I have done. I'm very happy with my lights but I would never shop here again and spend a dime supporting a business with such unsavory staff members.

Why would Lee Lighting have a grand reopening on May 19th, only to be closed on May 23rd, 24th, and 25th?

I highly recommend Lee Lighting. Dorothy did a fantastic job of helping us find the correct lighting and ceiling fan we needed. Charlie did an outstanding job of performing the installation of our lights and ceiling fan! Great job.

Dorothy is amazing. Goes well above and beyond for her customers. Will definitely use her for any of my lighting needs for now on

First time shopping at this store and it was one of the best experiences I have had. Dorthy was beyond amazing. It was absolute pleasure working with her. I was able to shop for my ENTIRE HOUSE in less than 2 hours. She looked at my pictures and listened to my likes/dislikes, the style I was going for. Very quickly she was able to show me items within my idea of what I was looking for.

She knows the store extremely well and she made sure she kept me on track with style, color etc. She also made sure she kept the cost in mind and gave me economical choices and did not pressure me into items that were pricier or her choices. She topped it off by making sure she searched online and price matched and did all she could to save me $$.

If you decide to shop there please ask for Dorthy. Plus they have amazing selection and great deals. The only compliant I have is the delivery process. The fact that they cannot give you a delivery window, contact dispatch or get better information on when to expect your delivery - aside from a delivery date and call 30 mins to 1 hr before delivery.

It is very inconvenient, and unacceptable to ask your client to sit around waiting. It was made scheduling the installation very hard when I had no delivery timeframe to work with.

Lee lighting is wonderful! They have lots of lighting to choose from, indoor/ outdoor, home decor and furniture. With the help and knowledge of Dorthy I was able to find all the lighting I needed for my home. People like her matter a lot to me when I'm shopping for bigger purchases!

Wonderful experience! Dorothy was wonderful! We found the Exterior lighting we wanted they only had one of the garage lights, Dorothy found the second one at another store and we were able to get everything!

Dorthy and Emile provided excellent customer service. Their willingness to walk with me, assist me with selecting items as well as calling other stores to check for my items. I will definitely be back. Thank you ladies.

I went to buy a chandelier for my dining room, but didn't want to spend too much so I was headed to the close out section when Dorothy came to help me. She pointed out that there were several great deals in the regular show room as well. She was helpful, but didn't hover and which I really appreciate. She provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. I will definitely be back!

I'm posting on behalf of my mother, Clara; she had a great experience shopping with Ms. Dorothy Escalon. Although she had several customers she was tending to, she would always come to check on her. My mother was looking for a couple of specific light fixtures to match some she already has that would work in her space and Ms Dorothy was able to locate a perfect match as well as another one that was available at a different location.

While I agree with the other reviews that Lee Lighting and it's parent company Progressive Lighting, offer a great selection, I would suggest that their showroom should be used as just such-- a showroom. Have a look, even ask them to provide spec sheets with all the details about the lighting you like and then go online to shop. Their prices are very high.

We recently purchased several lights for our kitchen and dining room-- we bought with confidence, after all they were so sweet and they have a guarantee! They will match prices and even beat prices by 10%! How could we lose?! Well there's a catch. They actually only match those prices if you follow their precise process. What's worse, we've decided to not shop there ever again!

And we have several more rooms to change out lighting. What a short-term way to do business.! One in which brick and mortar retailers are feeling the effects of and it will catch up with Lee Lighting too. What's the harm in, at the very least, in giving us a store credit for our future lighting needs, after all we spent nearly $4000 dollars?!

Crazy decisions that seem to come from the top. Go there, choose your lighting and then go to Overstock.com, wayfair.com, or lampsplus.com. If we had done that we would have saved several hundred dollars (on the lighting) plus taxes. Something to consider!

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE -- I dropped a few of the crystals that you see hanging from a chandelier. Went to Lee's Lighting in Huntersville and they gave me 2 pieces. Sooooo nice. Just ask for Jamie or Lisa. They are great! The worst customer service! The sales people at both locations were very unprofessional. At the Pineville location the salesperson was unfriendly and only seemed to be at your side when it was time to ring up a purchase but couldn't be bothered to give you any information. In Huntersville the friendly salesperson gave me inaccurate information.

When I tried to return an item because of being guided incorrectly it was as if I was dealing with a completely different person. They were not only not helpful but hurtful when making my purchase. Not to mention I could have purchased everything cheaper online.

If you are in the market for lamps or chandeliers then Lee Lighting is a must! I was very surprised they also have nightstands and dressers, outdoor furniture, mirrors and more! It is a bit overwhelming with the huge selection. The staff (especially Madeline!) was super friendly and will help you find what you are looking for. They have all price ranges and if you get on the mailing list they will keep you informed of the sales etc. Thanks guys!
