If your going to purchase a lampshade it has to be here! Possibilities are literally endless! They do quality work because they take pride in their work truly. I had the pleasure of working along side the owner Todd Loehr as Operations Manager. I was very privileged to work along him. He was taking on a lot for himself to handle all such as new Shades that included a LED discs that were very impressive and appealing to many clients.
Soon he had large commercial orders and personal online orders coming in! It was exciting and Todd was making business boom! He had an excellent production team creating these handmade quality lampshades. He took me under his wing and taught me a lot more than I expected. Todd is an intelligent man who cares about other success as well as keeping his most valuable people happy, his loyal customers. The lampshade on my desk lamp (bronze and sculpted in China, with lampshade no doubt also from China) needed replacement as the interior fabric had wear-torn after 45 years. I called Fenchel and got top rate assistance in sizing the lampshade. I then tried to describe the outer material, and Fenchel Customer Service assisted me in finding a material (they have hundreds).
The price seemed very fair, and I was told that it would take 3-4 weeks. That was classic undersell. After 1 week, I was notified that my lampshade was finished, and was en route. I just got it, and I am thoroughly delighted. There is no way I could have found what I wanted, with it's odd dimensions, and I live in a very metropolitan area. And I got what I wanted, 2 weeks ahead of schedule, and perfect in every detail.
