I found The Lamp Company on line when I was in need of a custom made lamp shade. There were no local vendors in NJ that were helpful and I was extremely lucky to speak with Tim. I provided him with the dimensions and he offered several suggestions on materials with cost. He texted me pictures of my options and indicated that it would take up to 8 weeks for it to be sent to me. He kept me updated as I waited.

The shade was shipped ny Federal Express and I received updates as it was on its way to my home. It was a true pleasure to deal with Tim and The Lamp Company from start to finish. During these times of poor customer service being the norm, it was so refreshing to call a business - have a human answer the call, provide answers to your questions, take your order and make sure all was ok. Thank you so much Tim. Great customer service

I was so pleased to find this place. I took in an old brass standing lamp with chandeliers, some of which had not worked in decades, literally. Tim fixed everything wrong with that lamp and provided a new shade. I then brought in lamp after lamp, I think 6 in all, one an antique in the family that no one had known where to go to fix it and a few other more utilitarian lamps, for rewiring, reharping, etc. So grateful for the prompt and knowledgeable service, reasonable prices, and above and beyond help. Thank you!
