Colorado Concept Electrical + Lighting was founded in 1983 by Daniel McCord-a master electrician, lighting designer, and electrical engineer-along with his wife, Nancy. Here's our story. After Daniel was involved in lighting some of the biggest concerts throughout the world in the 1970s (Pink Floyd being one of his favorites, and one of the inspirations for our new logo), he decided to bring his expertise and eye for lighting to the residential sphere.In the early days of Colorado Concept, he focused on art lighting in particular.
